Who we are
Blue Ridge Estate Services was created in response to the founders, Ryan and Tracy, each losing individuals close to them. Along with the grief of losing loved ones, they each faced the daunting task of settling the deceased person’s estates which included:
Collecting and cataloging financial assets held by various financial institutions;
Collecting and cataloging personal property assets located in multiple locations;
Sorting through personal property items that included making determinations which items were worth saving or selling;
Obtaining appraisals for jewelry, artwork, and firearm collections;
Selling jewelry, artwork, and firearm collections utilizing private sales, sales directly to companies, and auction sales;
Making donation arrangements to charitable organizations for items of personal property that could not be sold;
Making arrangements for trash pickup and other clean-up of real property in anticipation of a sale;
Hiring a realtor and going through the steps of selling real property;
Working with legal professionals to file estate documents with the respective probate court;
Working with tax professionals to file the necessary documents for the final and estate tax return;
